The Engine Themes

As you can probably guess from the surname there is a connection. Mike is my father and a musician. Back in 1983 my dad wrote the iconic Thomas the Tank Engine theme, along with all the incidental music for the series and film, including themes for all the engines.

Nearly 40 years on Thomas is still going strong and there is a brilliant fan base for the original theme and music.

After having so many requests from fans, Mike decided to self release an album of re-recorded themes from the original series.

The CD’s sold out within hours!

This was such a fun project to work on and something I hadn’t done for a long time. I’ve designed the album cover, sleeve and jewel case insert.
